Paul McCartney Drawings Withdrawn from Sale at Auction. :: A set of drawings by Sir Paul McCartney, which were expected to fetch more than $40,000 at auction, will not be hitting the auction block after all, BBC News has reported. The drawings, which were done by McCartney in the early ‘70s as prototypes for a part-animated film, were being sold by the daughter of animator Eric Wylam, who died in 1997.
