According to a press release from Dean Guitars, Guitar World, ddrums and Dean are hosting a Les Paul tribute concert this coming Monday at the world-renowned Iridium in New York City.
Just for the event, they put together a supergroup of incredible players to pay homage to the late great guitar wizard and inventor Les Paul. The group includes speed demon shredder Michael Angelo Batio, legendary drummer Carmine Appice, Dean Guitars CEO Elliot “Dean” Rubinson playing bass, and Jimmy Kunes, singer of Cactus on vocals.
The band will play two sets, one at 8 pm and one at 10 pm, and will be preceded by the Les Paul Jazz Trio, who will open the night.
