Hot Tuna’s Steady as She Goes

Legendary blues/roots band Hot Tuna have announced a special, deluxe LP of their new album Steady As She Goes. The deluxe record, which hits shelves and online music stores on June 28th, is perfect for audiophiles, as it was mastered at half-speed and pressed on premium 180 gram vinyl.
The package includes the album on two records, a CD of the album, Hot Tuna’s signature temporary tattoo, and exclusive photos from the band’s sessions at Levon Helm’s studio in Woodstock. Also, there is a vinyl etching of Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, Hot Tuna’s founding members, on the second LP.
Steady As She Goes (Red House) has been hailed as “One of the biggest surprises of 2011 so far” by the Austin Chronicle, and proves that although Hot Tuna was once a side project for Jorma and Jack from Jefferson Airplane, they have outlasted and out-performed honestly and creatively for decades.
