KISS bassist/vocalist/businessman Gene Simmons is continuing his enterprising ways, which is to be expected. However, he is unexpectedly scheduled to meet with executives to team up with iconic Japanese character Hello Kitty.
Simmons revealed his plans via Twitter this past weekend, tweeting that he is discussing “a KISS-Hello Kitty worldwide deal. Wow.”
Hello Kitty is Japanese company Sanrio’s biggest character, adorning merchandise the world over, kind of like KISS. This wouldn’t be the adorable cartoon’s first foray into the rock world; Hello Kitty has previously teamed up with Japanese rock band X Japan.
