Robert Plant’s musical career moves through many different territories as one of the most inspiring musical figures of the the twentieth centuries. Over a career that has covered almost half a century, Plant has journeyed from psychedelia to arena-shaking hard rock that took over the world, and now to a country and folk troubadour.

According to a press release from MVD Entertainment Group, Robert Plant’s Blue Note, a new upcoming in-depth documentary on the vocalist and songwriter, will cover all these periods. Available on August 23rd, the film includes rare footage of the golden-maned rock star and some great live performances.

Focusing on Plant’s voyage through many different musical styles and genres, Blue Note goes deep into his musical body of work, reviewing the experimentation and consistently unique talent that has become expected of Plant, even and especially as he has aged.
