Second Annual GWAR-B-Q Details Announced!. :: GWAR-B-Q poster By: Staff Details on this year’s “GWAR-B-Q” have finally been solidified. The 2nd annual, obviously GWAR-themed event will be held on September 17th instead of the previously-reported date of August 27th at Hadad’s Water Park in Richmond, VA. As the host of the world-famous Best Friends Day, Hadad’s Water Park will now also be host to a barbeque of morbid proportions.
Don Dokken Speaks Out on George Lynch. :: Vocalist Don Dokken has spoken out on the abandoned plans to reunite his namesake band’s classic lineup one last time, in the face of public comments made by guitarist George Lynch, telling bravewords.com , “It has always been frustrating to try to stay away from responding to the constant character bashing towards myself from George.” Dokken concedes that even though the chemistry became rapidly frayed, he still stands by the music the band made. “In the end we did some great records together,” Dokken said. “Some people believe our tension made our records better.” Lynch’s latest album, Kill All Control , will be released on June 21 and includes guests Will Marten (Earshot), Marq Torien (Bulletboys) and Keith St.

Fight Club Screenwriter To Pen Nine Inch Nails’ HBO Series. :: NIN - Year Zero By: Staff The upcoming HBO series, Year Zero , by Nine Inch Nails and Trent Reznor, now has a writer firmly on board. Jim Uhls will write the script for the show, which is based off of Nine Inch Nails’ 2007 concept album of the same name.
